Suntex Low Iron Solar Glass

The Suntex family of Low Iron Solar glass is specifically manufactured to provide the highest levels of solar energy transmittance whilst giving a strong, durable protective cover to all types of solar applications from Photovoltaic to Thermal.

Suntex is very low in Iron which maximises the amount of solar energy which is able to transmit through the glass. This gives the collector surface underneath the best performance possible.
Over 91.5% of the suns energy is transmitted through the glass to the collector.

Of utmost importance for a specialised glass like Suntex, is to ensure that glass quality is maintained to a strict standard. Low Iron glass that does not meet criteria necessary for solar panels can have a significant impact on the overall performance of the finished product.

As Suntex is manufactured on float lines dedicated solely to producing this type of glass, there is no chance that the quality can be affected by mixing varying types of glass on the one line.

Many other suppliers of this type of product also produce common float glass products on the lines they also use to produce low iron products. This obviously means that the iron content of the glass can be difficult to maintain at a consistent level.

Evo constantly monitor chemical composition of Suntex in-house, and have samples independently analysed by accredited laboratories both locally and in Europe to maintain a consistent quality that will meet and exceed minimum specifications.
